It’s a bummer to spend your money on food that doesn’t get eaten. We’ve rounded up a nice list of national restaurant chains that offer free kids meals or free desserts or birthday meals. As always, things can change at a moment’s notice, so it’s always a good best practice to check the restaurant’s website or give your local restaurant a call to be sure free kids meals are still being offered.
99 Restaurants – Kids eat free the day after a Boston Red Sox Win!
Applebee’s – Kids eat free off the kids’ menu on a certain day of the week. The day varies by location. Call your local restaurant to confirm.
Aroogas – One free kids meal with the purchase of an adult entree.
Back Yard Burgers – one free kids meal when you buy an adult entree.
Bob Evan’s – Kids 12 and under get a free kids meal when an adult orders an entree. This offer is good on Tuesdays after 4 pm.
Cafe Brazil (TX) – FREE Kids’ Entree Sunday-Thursday with the purchase of an adult entree.
Chick Fil A – some locations (call to verify) offer a FREE kid’s meal Tuesdays between 5:30-7:30 PM with the purchase of an adult combo meal.
Chili’s – Join My Chili’s Rewards. You’ll get periodic offers for free kids meals. In addition you get free chips and salsa and a free non-alcoholic beverage on each visit. For your birthday enjoy a free dessert.
Cici’s – Kids under 3 eat free with an adult purchase of a full size entree. Day varies by location, so call ahead to check!
Denny’s – Kids eat free days vary by location, so you’ll want to call ahead. The purchase of an adult entree makes you eligible for 2 free kids meals. It’s valid for dine in only.
Dickey’s Barbeque Pit – Kids under 12 eat free any time with the purchase of an adult entree.
Famous Dave’s – Kids eat FREE Tuesdays! Call to verify, some locations charge $0.99 (still a fantastic deal!)
Firehouse Subs – Kids 15 and under get a free Kids Combo meal on their birthday with the purchase of an additional medium or large sub, chips and drink. Offer is valid for the week of their birthday.
Golden Corral – Kids 3 and under are FREE any day with the purchase of an adult buffet meal.
Jason’s Deli – Kids eat FREE with the purchase of an adult meal on Wednesdays.
Jersey Mike’s – FREE kids meal with purchase of an adult entree. This may be regional, so contact your local restaurant to verify.
Johnny Rockets – Kids eat free on Tuesdays from 4-8 pm when an adult purchases an entree and drink.
Margaritas Mexican Restaurant (New England) – Kids eat free Saturday and Sunday!
Moe’s Southwest Grill – Kids eat free every Sunday! Kids can pick a free kids meal of a burrito, taco, or quesadilla plus chips and salsa with the purchase of an adult entree priced at $6+. Valid for dine in only.
Qdoba Mexican Grill – FREE kids meals with the purchase of an enchilada meal on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Red Robin – offer varies by location. Some offer free kids meals nights, others offer $1.99 kids meals multiple times a week. Kids get free ice cream sundaes on their birthdays. Red Robin Rewards members get additional freebie offers too.
Ruby Tuesday – FREE Kids Meals every Tuesday night after 5 pm.
Steak N Shake – one FREE Kids meal when you spend $9.
Tijuana Flats – FREE kids meals every Monday, Wednesday and Friday with the purchase of an adult entree.
Uno – Kids eat FREE every Tuesday!
